Profile Luc Brewaeys studied with André LAPORTE, Franco DONATONI and Brian FERNEYHOUGH. He was awarded several prizes and his music can best be described as "spectral symphonic". From 2002 to 2005 he recomposed the complete "Piano Préludes" by Claude Debussy for orchestra. In 2007 his first opera "L`uomo dal fiore in bocca" got its premiere at the National Opera in Brussels. He currently is preparing his "Symphony n° 9" for 40-part chorus and large orchestra.
