Profile Brandon Nelson, a native of Ishpeming, MI, is a published, award-winning composer of works in a wide variety of media. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Northern Michigan University and is currently working towards a Master of Music degree in composition at Central Michigan University, where he is under the tutelage of master composers David Gillingham and Jose-Luis Maurtua. Nelson is an active member of ASCAP and the College Music Society.
