Profile Composer, and photographer Shahriyar Farshid was born in Iran in 1990. He began his formal musical studies, in piano and music theory, at Tehran school of music. in 2007 he moved to Armenia and studied composition at Yerevan State Conservatory of Komitas under Composer Prof.Artur Avanesov as well as Prof.Vache Sharafyan. Farshid is the composer of numerous chamber, piano, and vocal works. Since 2010 he is a composition student at Mozarteum University of Salzburg under Prof.Reinhard Febel.
