Profile John Bock was born in New York in 1984. As a composer, he is mostly self-taught and focuses on electronic music. He studied music at Nassau Community College and Queens College. In 2007, he moved to The Netherlands to study Sonology at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. He later moved to Chicago in 2010, where he studied composition with Chris Mercer. He currently resides in Santa Cruz, CA where he is majoring in computer science and continues to pursue his passion for electronic music.
