Profile I am an emerging composer in San Francisco. My compositional attitude is decidedly contrapuntal in nature, but beyond that more specific interests broaden my view of things on a regular basis. Among these concerns are achieving a more liquid expression of time in music: less metric and pulsing, more infinite and searching; and attempting to reconcile in my own practice music that strives for completion and music that simply exists–by no means inert but unconcerned with achieving an endpoint.
