Profile McGuire`s success in large scale works includes Peter Pan (Scottish Ballet 1989, Hong Kong Ballet 1996), A Glasgow Symphony (NYOS) and The Loving of Etain (Paragon Opera 1990). Calgacus - (London Proms 1997, BBCSSO) was chosen for BBC Music Magazine cover-mount CD "The Very Best of the BBC Orchestras". He won a British Composers Award 2003. His Delphian Records CD achieved Editor`s Choice in Gramophone Magazine Awards Issue 2006 (Eddie McGuire: Music for Flute, Guitar and Piano)
