Profile Seth Custer was selected by MTNA as the Distinguished Composer of 2010 for his composition, Touch & Go. In 2009, he earned his Ph.D. in composition from the University of Iowa, where he studied with composer David Gompper. Custer remains active as a performer and composer, and is currently the program director for National Federation of Music Clubs Junior Composers Institute, held annually in Minneapolis, MN.
