Profile David Heyes is in great demand as a double bass soloist, teacher and competition juror and has premiered nine modern concertos for double bass. He received a prestigious award from the David Walter Charitable Trust of New York and since 1990 almost 500 works have been written for him. David has given recitals, masterclasses and workshops throughout Britain and abroad including UK, USA, China, Norway, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and Denmark.
