Profile Born in Tipperary, Ireland, 1944. Studied Dublin, Rome and Berlin ( Boris Blacher ). 1980 Berlin Artists´programme. Since 1983 Professor at Hamburg. 1989-90 Fulbright Fellowship and Guest-professor in U.S. Member Irish Academy of the Arts. Many commissions, prizes and distinctions. First Symphony, " SYMPHONIES OF SYMPHONIES OF WIND" premiered in Vienna 1981 with O.R.F.S.O. / Lothar Zagrosek.
