Profile Sarah read music at Nottingham University. Working in Sierra Leone for VSO stimulated an interest in cross-cultural composition with performances at the Nottingham Now Festival and as featured composer for the Eastern Orchestral Board. Sarah is a director of MCPS and Chairman of BASCA. In 2003 she created the British Composer Awards. She is recorded on the SOMM label and published by S&B, OUP and Impulse Edition. Owner of webshop tutti.co.uk, Sarah is also a direct descendant of Henry Purcell.
