Profile Since the year 2000, Ferraro has composed for solo instruments, choir, chamber music, four orchestral pieces, and two chamber operas. He was awarded a full scholarship from the Brazilian Government to undertake a PhD in Music Composition at City University, London (2007-2011). His compositions have been played around the world, from UK to New Zealand to China. His chamber opera The Moonflower was premiered during the Tête à Tête: The Opera Festival, at Riverside Studios, London, in August 2011.
