Profile Martín Capella was born in Mexico City on november 1981, studied composition at CIEM and received his licenciate diploma from Trinity College of London.
In 2007 his first orchestral piece was awarded the first price of the 1st Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas Young Composers Competition, and premiered at Rose Hall at Jazz at Lincoln Centre in New York City. Capella has wrote several chamber pieces, music for short film and electronic music for Indol Records in Mexico City.
