Profile George Higgs is a self taught composer whose music has been performed across Ireland, Russia and the United States. His work includes electro acoustic opera, chamber music, symphony, pure electronics, experimental theatre music and extended pieces for solo instruments. He has received numerous awards including two Irish Arts Council Grants and the Director`s Prize from the Chamber Orchestra Kremlin. He teaches and performs throughout the year and holds a Masters in electronic music from Trinity College Dublin.
He is currently involved in a large scale project to make music out of the stock market.
