Profile Barmey Ung is a University of Miami student who was studied under classical guitarists Zachary Seldess, Anne Waller, Mark Maxwell, Rene Gonzales, Paco Fonta, and Oscar Herrero. Barmey Ung plays Flamenco guitar for El Arte Compas Flamenco Company performing in various venues in the Miami Area. As a freelance composer and producer, he has written music for many University of Miami ensembles including guitar ensemble, percussion ensemble, and chamber orchestra. He is now collaborating with Haitian artist Erol Josue presently in negotiations with Virgin and EMI records. He also gigs as a classical guitarist performing in private funcitons, weddings, fundraisers, festivals, as well as recitals and concerts. He currently teaches private lessons for guitar and is president of the student organization Youth Music Campaign, which introduces many types of music to under-priveledged children by University of Miami music majors. He is expected to attend the next Classical Guitar Festival in Bruno, Czech Republic August 2006.

He enjoys exploring world music, and is looking to collaborate with any people in need of his services.
