Andrian Pertout's Ein Deutsches Enigma was on the whole well written for the instrument. In a couple of places Susanne felt the notation of accidentals could have been easier - for example
the D and A# in bar 13 would have been much easier to read as D and Bb. She also didn't like the combination of détaché with staccato dots in bar 15 and suggested the composer
may have mean jetté or ricochét.
