To mark the occasion of the 100th anniversary of its foundation (1919-2019), the Civica Orchestra di Fiati "G. Verdi" - Città di Trieste proposes for the 2019/2020 season the "100x100 project: one hundred events on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Civica Orchestra di Fiati G. Verdi - Città di Trieste". One of the Orchestra aims is to promote talented musicians and composers and to support them. For this purpose the Civica Orchetsra di Fiati "G. Verdi" - Città di Trieste is launching a Call for Scores Competition: the competition is open for ensemble and four lead guitars compositions. The winning piece or pieces will be performed at the 7th edition of the Guitar Festival, which will take place in Trieste (Italy) from the 24th to 26th May, 2019 and moreover the winner composer will be awarded with a prize of 200 euros.
