Details: Applications are open for the Fernando Rielo International Sacred Music Award. The aim of the competition is to promote contemporary sacred music. Compositions are invited for mixed choir and basic chamber orchestra and the text to be used is the Ave José (prayer composed by Fernando Rielo) in Latin or the language that the composer chooses. The Prize of € 5,000, is aimed at composers from any country with no age limit. The work must be original, unpublished and never performed in public, and lasting between 7 and 12 minutes.
