Call for Scores "1 hour COMPOSED" (deadline: 15 November 2018) The "1 hour COMPOSED" call for scores is open to all composers, regardless of age or origin. Can you write a short piece of musical theater in just an hour or less? The piece you send us must be: -for 1 to 6 vocal performers -of maximum duration 10 ' -with or without piano -composed in just an hour, or even less ... The selected works will be performed in the next editions of the Festival della Voce. Deadline: November 15th 2018 email: innestidicultura@gmail.com Of course we can not control the timing! We suggest an extemporaneous approach, "as if" one should write in an hour. What we are asking for is a piece of musical theater in which the theatrical idea predominates over music. The most strictly musical component can be simple (for example a consequence of the relationships established between the singers / actors on the stage) and annotated in an unconventional way (drawings, improvisation boxes). The purpose is obviously didactic, a musical theater laboratory that asks the singers of bel canto training to consider themselves not only musicians, but also actors, and open themselves to contemporary suggestions.
