Description

Three Worlds are a group of actors developing a specialised practice in dramatic improvisation.

This is exciting work that offers unique opportunities for performers. In our weekly workshops the actors study improvisation, dramatic structure and staging. These rehearsed and practiced foundations allow us to create innovative contemporary theatre “in the heat of the moment”.

The company has been running for four years and will shortly begin a forth season of performances in London.

We are looking for a part-time musician (3 a 5 hours a week for twelve weeks) to work alongside the artistic director and the actors.

We currently use live percussion and “vocal music” to accompany performances.
The Musician will further develop our musical possibilities. Together we will develop improvised and composed instrumental and vocal music.

This is an opportunity to learn new skills in working with actors, to improvise and compose and to be part of a creative team developing music for theatre.

The Musician will (with our support) lead workshops with the actors, participate in workshops as a musical performer and be able to take part in performances.

We are looking for a musician who is interested in developing skills in theatre music, in improvisation and in composition.

As an unfunded theatre company currently all of us are volunteers.

If you are interested please send us an email.
