Details: Through our past editions we discovered more than 300 innovative works and many talented composers.

This new Call for Piano Recordings has been launched to discover piano recordings of new contemporary music and this is a great opportunity if you own piano recordings of your own compositions and would like to see it published.

We are looking for innovative ideas, original compositions, outstanding productions and anything able to shake tomorrow's music.

We hope to discover, promote and nurture the next wave of contemporary and current composers and performers who are going to forge and fashion tomorrow’s music world.

THE CALL
This Call for Piano Recordings competition is addressed to anyone regardless of age and country of residency, who owns piano recordings of her/his works and is interested in being featured in a release specially compiled to professionally and commercially promote new music, composers and performers.

The best-selected works will be featured in a top quality release and added to RMN Music catalogue. The fresh new album will be produced by RMN Classical and released worldwide through RMN Music. The release will be distributed on a high-quality edition on iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play Music, Amazon Music, Spotify and many other stores and digital platforms. Optionally and based on demand there will be the possibility for physical distribution too. The release and the winning works will be also added to the Sound and Music Archive of the British Library which already hosts all RMN Music catalog.

The prize for the selected winners will also include high-quality design of the cover artwork, chart registration in the USA, the Uk, and Canada, licensing and copyright clearance and the composers will retain 100% of the copyright. Additionally, there will be the opportunity for synchronisation and licensing (tv and media) and optionally physical distribution and manufacturing of the album will be available (depending on demand).

GUIDELINES
Application is via the Application Form. Please read the following instructions to prepare the material.

ACCEPTED WORKS: Works for Piano only.
A link to a recording of your piano copmosition should be submitted together with the Music Score (in pdf file).
Both Live and Studio recordings are accepted.

Recordings of works for Duo, Trio etc… (chamber music) will not be accepted. Please consider submitting your recording of chamber music to our Call for Chamber Music Recordings.

PLEASE SEND ONLY YOUR BEST WORK
The quality of the track submitted should be of the highest standard possible

Maximum duration: OPEN
There is no maximum duration. We recommend you submit short and medium length tracks (3 to 6 min in length).

ACCEPTED GENRE:
Contemporary music for piano solo only. Piano duos or 4 hands can be accepted too.
Other combinations of duo and trio with piano (like for eg. violin and piano, cello and piano, etc...) will not be accepted.
Computer realizations can be considered only if of the highest quality possible.

Age / Nationality:
There are no formal restrictions and anyone regardless of age and country of residency or citizenship can participate.

Other Limits:
There is no limit to the number of recordings that you can submit. Please note that we will tend to select only one work per composer. In some circumstances, we can decide to select more than one work (depending on quality of works and talent(s) )

Multi.movement Works:
Multi-movement works (sonata and similar forms) can be submitted and will count as 1 work. Eg: A three-movement sonata will count as 1 work.

Collection of works will not count as one work and application fee should be paid accordingly.
For eg. a collection of 3 works will count as 3 separate works and application fee should be paid three times.

Deadline:
March 25, 2018 (BST 11.59pm)

Application fee:
EARLY BIRD [Ends 04 March 2018 at midnight BST]: £44 - per work submitted

FULL PRICE: £64 - per work submitted

The application fee will be the only cost.
No other fees or costs will be due if the composer is selected.
