Details: The RCM is seeking to engage an outstanding musician and academic as Head of Undergraduate Programmes to take overall responsibility for overseeing the delivery of the RCM’s suite of undergraduate degree and exchange programmes.

You will have extensive and relevant experience of course management, curriculum development and teaching across core and specialist subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. A teaching specialism in the field of music from 1900 to the present day is desirable. Working together with the Director of Research, Heads of principal studyFaculties, the Head of Postgraduate Programmes and other programme leaders and administrators, you will play an important role in developing and implementing the Learning and Teaching strategy of the RCM. In particular, the Head of Undergraduate Programmes will lead the development of academic aspects of e-learning and the use of other digital media in teaching and learning.

You should also have an outstanding and active research profile in a relevant area (musicology; performance; composition, music science; music education).
