 NYOW Young Composers Residency 2014
Summary:Young Composer Residency

Date Posted: 08 May 2014
Details: Following on from the first, highly successful, Young Composers Residency last year; the National Youth Orchestra of Wales will once again run a composers programme alongside this summer’s NYOW residency. Eligibility Criteria: All applicants should have a home base in Wales and be aged between 15 and 21 years on 31st August 2014. No formal qualifications are required, but applicants are required to submit a portfolio of work (two original compositions) in support of their application.

Auditions: Auditions will take the form of group workshops where you will be required to complete a creative musical exercise. There will also be a short informal interview involving a discussion around your existing portfolio, your creative ideas and your musical influences.
