Sensoria and the National Fairground Archive
Summary:Composing for Film
Deadline: 12 May 2014
Date Posted: 01 May 2014
Details: Two composers/bands required for a Sensoria event celebrating 20 Years of the National Fairground Archive
Sensoria and the National Fairground Archive are looking for two creative composers or bands to score a selection of Edwardian short films.

The composers will be chosen to accompany pieces written by In The Nursery, with the works being presented at a special audio visual event during Sensoria Festival (27 Sept – 4 October 2014), celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the National Fairground Archive. This is an excellent opportunity for individual composers or bands to gain experience and an insight into composing music for film. Musicians are invited to submit an example of their work with a view to composing new music for local interest archive films from the Mitchell & Kenyon Collection, dating back to the early 1900′s.

A commission fee will be awarded to the chosen composers and all music rights will remain with the artist. The closing date for registering interest is 12 May 2014.

* Please send in no more than two examples of mp3′s or SoundCloud links plus a brief biog or band description to info@sensoria.org.uk

If you have already submitted to Sensoria it is fine to apply for this opportunity too.
