Details:	RSCM Australia (ACT Branch) Annual Composition Competition Deadline date: May 17, 2013 Location: Canberra, Australia Total prizes ($AUD): 1st $150, 2nd $100, 3rd $50. Entry fee: $10 for RSCM Members, $25 for Non-Members Entry restriction: None Duration of piece: No longer than 7 minutes The theme this year is to compose a piece for SATB Choir, with organ or piano accompaniment, which would be suitable to be sung on the feast day of St Francis. The piece should be suitable for use by an average parish church choir within a liturgical context. A selection of entries by the short-listed finalists will be performed by RSCM singers at a Finalists' Concert in Canberra on June 22, at which time the final winners will be chosen.
