We are seeking a leading composer in the field(s) of live computer music with a strong compositional research record and substantial research outputs. Expertise in the research areas of real-time synthesis and/or real-time algorithmic composition is essential. Likewise, expert knowledge of computer music software such as MAXMSP, SuperCollider, Pd, OpenMusic and other appropriate computer music programming platforms is essential. Knowledge of live diffusion and multi-channel sound spatialisation is desirable, as is experience in more general areas of electroacoustic and acousmatic music. Experience in sound engineering, recording and general music technology is also useful. |
