Ligeti Remembered at Lucerne Festival

The Lucerene Summer Festival will this year pay special tribute to Gyorgy Ligeti who died last year. Ligeti was expected to be 'composer in residence' for this year's festival and was working on a commssion for the festival at the time of his death. The tribute will take the form of 9 performances featuring his work.

In Ligeti's absence this year's composer in residence will be Peter Eotvos.
