Profile	I am a composer based in Derry, Northern Ireland. Former student of Brian Irvine, Laurence Roman and Frank Lyons. I specialize in writing for strings, and have experience in writing for short films and operetta. To give some influences, outside of composing I am a bassist/double bassist in several function bands and jazz groups. I currently play upright bass for legendary (here in Ireland at least) jazz clarinet/saxophonist Gay McIntyre.
