Profile The Lancashire Sinfonietta is one of the most distinctive chamber orchestras in the UK. Home-grown Lancashire musicians, hand picked from the finest British orchestras form this conductorless ensemble. The orchestra awards an annual Young Composer in Residence Prize, commissions new works, collaborates in cross artform projects and non-classical programming.
