Profile Born in Turkey, she graduated from the Hochschule für Musik Köln, where she studied composition with Prof. Krzysztof Meyer. Köksal’s awards include third prize at the 6ème Concours International de Composition Henri Dutilleux (2008), second prize at the III. International Deutsche-Polnische Kompositions Wettbewerb, Köln (1998).In 2009, she was nominated for the Third International Pablo Casals Award in France.
