Broad interests, but mainly active in church music
Profile
After much musical activity at school in the UK, I attempted a BMus at Edinburgh University in 1970, the high point of which was having an original composition highly commended by Kenneth Leighton, then Reid Professor at Edinburgh. Dismally failing first year exams, I ran away to sea to play piano on cruise ships.
25 years later, in Australia, I returned to study with new enthusiasm, gained a BA, took up IT, which now supports me while I indulge in my passion for church music and composition.
