Profile Cowie has become internationally well known as a composer with a distinctive `voice`. Also internationally exhibited as a painter, he continues to work in both acoustic and visual fields. Almost all of his music is inspired by studies of natural forms. He currently lives and works in France and is working on major commissions for piano, voices and orchestra.
