Profile Name: Nathaniel Seaman Occupation: Post graduate student at the University of Hull My compositional language is largely tonal, though really it is modal. The music tends to be rhythmically complex and harmonically driven. I am particularly fond of the acoustic (Bartok) scale and half major and minor scale colours as well as the use of contrasting cells of rhythm and their manipulation through cycles over material that is more concretely in the given time signatures.
