Profile John lives in south London, just around the corner from the world-famous Horniman Museum.

He`s been composing for the last few years, expanding on his arranging skills, practised from his early teens.

Among a number of smaller works for chamber ensemble, his largest work for concert band (`Triptych: Honor Oak Park`) was premiered in 2005 and he has just completed work on a Requiem (Op. 15) to be premiered in April 2009.

His chamber orchestra piece `Green Sky` won the Making Music Award at the British Composer Awards 2008.
