Profile	Born in St. Petersburg Russia in 1981, Leonid Iogansen started playing violin at the age of seven. Since that time, he has performed at numerous venues and has won several competitions. Besides a performer, Leonid is also a frequently commissioned and performed composer. Recently, he has performed his own Violin Concerto with an orchestra at Peabody Conservatory with Francis Scully conducting. Lukas Foss hailed Leonidï¿½s compositions as ï¿½really amazingï¿½ very musical and very professional.ï¿½
