Profile Lily Barmor Rose holds degrees from Cal Arts, Witwatersrand University and Drake University. She studied film scoring at UCLA and earned a Ph.D. in Composition at the University of Oregon. Her composition Return To The Dead Sea is featured in the Oregon Literary Review. Rose was awarded second place in Cappella Gloriana`s Choral Competition with her composition October, and received a Masterworks Award for The Last Days Of King Saul, Overture which will be released on Masterworks of the New Era Vol.12 in 2007.
