Profile After graduating from the University of Victoria (1999), André attended the California Institute of the Arts and received an MFA in composition (2002). His teachers include Christopher Butterfield, James Tenney and Michael Pisaro. André co-founded the artist collective OXO in Brooklyn, NY in 2003. His work has been presented by performers and ensembles in Canada, the US and in Europe. Originally from Moncton NB, He is an associate member of the Canadian Music Centre.
