Profile Born in Brescia, he graduated in composition at the Milan Conservatory. Some of his compositions won prizes and mentions in twenty national and international competitions. Since 1984, Giacometti publishes contributions in the field of musical pedagogy. In 1989 he was one of the founding members of the “Societŕ Italiana di Analisi Musicale” (SidAM). Giacometti’s compositions are published by Rugginenti, Ricordi, Suvini-Zerboni, Bérben, EDI-PAN, Delatour editions musicales.
