A concert at Maida Vale Studios to celebrate the music of Sir Peter Maxwell Davies in the year of his 80th birthday.

Hear two London premieres from the composer, Throstle's Nest Junction and A Spell for Green Corn performed by the BBC Symphony Orchestra, soloist Chloë Hanslip and conductor Michael Seal. The concert finale is his monumental masterwork Worldes Blis, a piece which Davies himself conducted for the notorious world premiere with the BBC Symphony Orchestra in 1969.

Please note Michael Seal replaces Peter Rundel as conductor for this concert.
