Complemented by two of Vaughan Williams’ more deceptive works, Flos Campi (1925) and Concerto in A minor for Oboe and Strings (1944), the program features a vast vocal repertoire including the world premiere of Give Thanks for All Things, commissioned by Cantata Singers, by Pulitzer Prize winner Yehudi Wyner; On the Beach at Night (1949) by Andrew Imbrie; and The Choral New Yorker (1944) by Boston native Irving Fine.
Performances Friday, November 5th and Saturday, November 6th at 8pm.
