Composing NYC is a commissioning project initiated and curated by Yarn/Wire. Eight emerging local composers were asked to write new pieces for the ensemble. In addition to the four on this concert, composers Sebastian Armoza, Joseph Di Ponio, Aaron Einbond, and David Franzson were featured. The project will be documented on a CD from Carrier Records to be released in the fall.
