Naiades Ensemble:
Helen Manente, flute
Nadya Larsen, viola
Paula Popa, harp

Formed in early 2006, the Naiades Ensemble is a professional, dynamic chamber ensemble comprising of Helen Manente, flute, Nadya Larsen, viola and Paula Popa, harp, all recent graduates of the Royal College of Music. Brought together by their love of chamber music, the Naiades Ensemble is committed to discovering and performing repertoire specifically written for this rarely heard combination. Alongside their chamber music activities, they pursue busy careers as soloists, teachers and orchestral freelancers.
The Naiades Ensemble has rapidly become well established, enjoying recitals in numerous prominent venues, including the Victoria & Albert Museum, The National Gallery, Lincoln's Inn Chapel, St. Mary-le-Strand Church and Winchester Cathedral, and received coaching from eminent harpists Ieuan Jones and David Watkins and composer Timothy Salter.

Future engagements for the Naiades include recitals at St. Martin-in-the-Fields, the Monmouth Music Festival and a return to Winchester Cathedral, alongside the launch of their début CD. They are the grateful recipients of the prestigious Fossat Award, having been nominated by the Royal College of Music
