Ilya Rashkovskiy (piano)

Born in 1984, Russian pianist Ilya Rashkovskiy was the winner of the 2006 Hong Kong Piano Competition, judged by Vladimir Ashkenazy.

Rashkovskiy has performed at many of the world's important concert venues including Salle Pleyel; theatre du Champs Elysee; the Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory; Osaka Symphony Hall amongst others.

In December 2006, Rashkovskiy was invited to Hong Kong to perform in the Joy of Music festival organised by the Chopin Society of Hong Kong.

LCO welcomes Rashkovskiy to St. John's, Smith Square for his UK Concerto debut performance.
