Musicians from the City of London Sinfonia will be playing with the St Albans Symphony Orchestra

New music whose inspirations include English folk song, windblown desert sand and a notorious Tudor tax have been chosen for performance at a day for ‘undiscovered’ composers organised by the St Albans Symphony Orchestra (SASO) and its professional partners in the City of London Sinfonia (CLS).

Christina Athinodorou : Overture for the Red Rain
Alexander Flood : Récits
Cedric Peachey : Three Fantasy Variations on 'The River is Wide'
