‘More please!’
The Guardian

After the huge success of last year's Family Concerts BCMG is delighted to present two new performances for young people and their families in collaboration with digital media company Braunarts. Once more the concerts will explore new ways of introducing young people to the wonderful and diverse world of contemporary music, combining sound with newly created digital images generated by the music itself. From the delicate and fluttering sounds of Pierre Boulez’s Dérive to Steve Reich’s mesmerising and trancelike New York Counterpoint and the excitement and drive of Peter Wiegold’s That man’s talking nonsense, these ground-breaking hour-long concerts will reveal an extraordinary universe of new classical music through sound and image.

BCMG has a Family Friendly Policy and will take the utmost care to make this whole event a fantastic experience for the young audience.
