Brooklyn-based composer/percussionist Aaron Siegel, best known in improvising circles for his work with Anthony Braxton, premieres his interpretations of modern classical music off of his newly released album Every Morning, A History. Joined by Emily Manzo (piano) and Alex Waterman (cello), the Aaron Siegel Ensemble presents an evening of evocative, post-Minimalist music described as “chamberlike interplay” colored with shades of “turbulent free jazz”.
