As part of the UK Singapore Season, Singapore’s only traditional Chinese orchestra make their debut UK appearance. Made up almost exclusively of traditional Chinese instruments, the Singapore Chinese Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Tsung Yeh, performs an array of groundbreaking Eastern music. The Singapore Chinese Orchestra produce an incredible display of Eastern art featuring music composed by Tang Jian Ping, a new commission from Michael Nyman, music from Tan Dun’s award winning score for Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and a multimedia live display of music, poetry and calligraphy from acclaimed artist Tan Swie Hian.
