The soundscapes of Luigi Nono are filled with the unexpected: he pushed the boundaries of audibility, explored the possibilities of live electronics, and incorporated both the raw sounds of factories and the beauty of soaring voices into his music. The BBC Singers join the London Sinfonietta and Oliver Knussen in a performance spanning the whole career of this revolutionary avant-garde composer.
