Bill Campbell Biography

Born Belfast 1961. Studied music at University of Ulster.Received SPNM performance in 1990. Was awarded Cornelius Cardew composition prize 1992. Was the first `composer in residence` for Co. Cavan 2001 to 2003. BBC commissions for `The Ulster Orchestra` Has had work performed by RTE symphony orchestra, Darragh Morgan solo violin with the Ulster Orchestra he was commissioned by the `Ulster Youth Orchestra` for new work in 2010 and has composed many chamber pieces.
