I am eclectic composer, pianist, teacher. I worked as concerto Pianist in Brazil since 1975 (with 15 years old). Recently I stopped my tours and now I am composing only.
I write mainly classical music (85% of my music) but sometimes in another styles also (Jazz in classical forms, Pop Instrumental and with voice, Movie Themes etc).
My hobby is write pop songs (music & lyric) and record by myself, singing.
I am graduate degree in music, with 30 years of experience in music. I wrote around 213 works.

My name is Guilherme Schroeter
I born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, January, 16, 1960.
I am From tradicional family of musicians. Recently, my aunt soprano Olga Maria Schroeter (
http://olgaschroeter.sites.uol.com.br/ - Was discover some blood connections with Johann Samuel Schroter (the first composer pianist) and Corona (his sister - Lyrical composer, singer actress, etc that worked closely with Schiller and Goethe)
I make my first recital in 1975.
I won my first award with 16 and My first soloist performer with orchestra with 25 (Chopin E Minor Piano concerto)
I startet with composition in 1979.
And write music with Computer in 1995
I am graduate degree in Music (1988), a lot of Piano competitions, One travel to Seatlle (USA), making concerts, and 3 Germany Master Classes in 1992/3 (Jorg Demus Peter Rosel and Sebastian Benda)
I am also computer music educator, and I wrote 200 musics electronically.
Awards: pianist and composer:
- Best Interpretation of Villa-Lobos, Brasilia/DF - Brazil - 1976 (with 16 years old)
- Compositon award in Sao Paulo/SP, 1984
- Winner orchestra soloist competition - OSPA/Porto Alegre/RS, 1985
- Semifinals in Internacional Piano Competition in Montevideo - Uruguay, 1985
- 3o. Prize in Chopin national competition in Curitiba/PR - Brazil, 1986
In 1993/94 I made one travel to Germany ('Master Class' with Ceslaw Kacinsky, Jorg Demus and Peter Rosel)
In 2000/1 I travelled to USA,performing in recitals

Description of the pieces
Piano Concerto OP.54 No.1 (A minor) . I wrote this concerto to help begginers medium skills pianist to perform one concerto with orchestra without any 'pain' - worries about technique. | The 2 rhapsodies follow the same estructure: PRELUDE CHORAL AND FUGUE. The Opus 96 is based in Rachmaninoff Third Piano Concerto (public domain in USA) main themes (First mov.), and The opus 98 never was made before: Based in Happy Birthday well know theme, but in serious way, in neo-romantic style, each part more and more dificult (each part is independent, so, can be played as a full piece) - So, is also didactical and in the same time can be used as a concert piece.
