Charade for Orchestra Single movement work loosely based on fragments of the melody "Ilkley Moor Baht'at". Describes a journey up onto the moor, with its bleak and rugged scenery and stunning views.
Four Songs Without Words for orchestra Four Songs Without Words for orchestra began life as a series of short pieces for GCSE and A-level students' ensemble performances, written between 1996 and 2001. Here they are considerably developed and expanded, scored for orchestra and arranged in four movements. These pieces have been played by two Leeds orchestras.

Patrick Lee Biography
Musical education at the Royal Academy of Music and London University Institute of Education (a long time ago!). Head of Music in three different schools; until 2006, Deputy Headteacher at Crawshaw High School, Pudsey, Leeds; now retired and writing/performing full time.
